Okay first off. i hate how you cant "place" items like you could in Morrowind it destroyes half the fun of even haveing a house. I can live with that even thought id rather not  Sad but what really bugs me is that you have to actualy accept the amount of items you want to move there is not shift or ctrl like there was in morrowind. and in shops YES i want to sell my item dont ask me if im sure i want to sell it, if i didnt i wouldnt be there. so here is a list of it now that im done ranting

Negative Aspects
No alt/shift options for moveing items.
Selling item "pop up"
Not able to place items where you want them.
Items you steal are MARKED stolen forever
Guards seem to be Omnicant about your location
No map Markers so you know where you have already looted (not the blue arrow, like the red square for Morrowind where you get to enter text.)

Anyway if any of you have anyting to add to the list post here. Maybe a patch will fix some of this i dont know but by far the first 3 really pev me off to no end.

I have to agree with the first 3, but fences easily fix the 4th problem you have with the game, and there is an elaborate system of warnings the guards seem to have, where if anyone see's you break into a house, the guards will know about it. Quite realistic, but meh.

Actually you CAN place things, though I haven't tried decorating.. just click the item you want to place and drag it out to the right from the menu. You need to have some room to do this.
Also I've read that you can mark your maps.. maybe it was by holding shift and left clicking I don't remember but check the manual.
As to stealing, like the previous post said.. you really need a fence. Some goods can be laundered (more specifically you can "launder" ingredients by making potions of them).

But I'll certainly agree with anyone who thinks that the interface is great for a xbox but just horrible for the pc. 6 items per page? 8 hot-keys? Come on that needs to be adressed.. the game was released too early on the pc.

Placing things is actually really easy as long as you have a basic understanding of physics.  For example, say there is a silver goblet sideways on the ground and you want to place it upright on the table.  Put your cursor on the top lip of the cup, and press and hold the Z key.  Move your cursor up, and the cup should swing upright, then just move it over the table and let go of Z.  I haven't tried this on larger objects, but I would assume that it works the same way, just compensate for gravity and you should be fine.

On the placing Items issue, it shouldnt be too hard. I went to my friends house while he was decorating his house in Bruma and he had put wine bottles into the wine(shelf)... and he decorated it really nice. Like said before understanding the basics of the real life physics and it shouldnt be too hard. Maybe some patience. I dont have a house... so I dont really decorate much. I do enjoy throwing stuff down stairs though. (= Hope that helps.
