Images?

I dont know if this applies to other people, but images, smileys that are posted wont work for me. I'm logged in and all, but all I see is the code and image link. The avatars and sigs are working fine, this is just with stuff posted within the text part.

I think it's due to the move of the forum.

Yes, the images were stored in HTML format like all other codes, and they could not be transferred. In the new posts, smileys will work OK... and I'm intended to get old smileys back here.

Mysical, you're right. This is what's known as forum necromancy. Also, even though it's somewhat off topic from the rest of the posts, Gray Fox did ask a question that fits the title of the topic, at least. I'll just answer it real quick and we can move on.

You have to put the address to an image file in between the two sets of brackets that pop up. For that to work, you need to upload the image you want to post to a website that allows this sort of thing. I recommend Photobucket since it's free and easy. It even copies the link to the clipboard for you...including the code brackets so all you have to do is click once after you upload and then paste the resulting code into your message.

An example of the correct final code:

[Side-note: The original post was about all the old smiley-face codes from our changeover to the new forum system about a year ago. I've fixed almost every single post that had that problem. The only ones left are older posts in the "Oblivion Hints & Spoilers" section. Almost done!  ]
