It would really help a lot if there was no time limit for editing, as I'd like to keep updating my topics without having to double or triple post.
Example, I recently made a topic about having an error with sound, and I wanted to update what has happened, but now I'd have to double post, and I just think that it takes up space, when you could just edit your first post without worrying about the time limit.
I hope you take my suggestion into action!

Unlimited editing of posts is an option only for moderators. There's no need to worry about double posting if some time passed and you have something to update.
Anyway, I've upped time limit to 24 hours.

24 hours is better than it was before. Thanks Igiss.
For the double post thing, it makes sense. As long as you have something new and useful to add (like what you described, Mystical) and enough time has passed it's more acceptable to double post. I understand your hesitation, as I'd probably be reluctant too. A good reason to put it in a new post anyways is so that everyone knows you added something new. Edited posts don't show up on the main page as such so the only way anyone will read it is if someone makes a new post. So, after 24 hours or more, simply editing an old post won't keep the topic active.
This sounds like a good compromise.
