Just curious as to what part of the game my fellow ex-prisoner enjoy the most.  Game design, quest layout, voice over, etc. ?  Lets leave out the open ended gameplay - that one is too easy to pick.  Give this game a 1- 10 rating and rank it on your all time list.  here we go...

My favorite favorite element of the game is the environment - everything from the sway of grass to the sound of snow crunching under my feet is really what makes this game perfect.  i sit on my horse on mountain tops and look in awe.  (print screen doesnt work though..any advice)

I would rank Oblivion a 9.9, and if the small bugs get fixed it would most def be a 10
My top games are
1. Oblivion PC(i can Objectively say this)
2. Final Fantasy 3 SNES
3. Civilization II PC

My favorite element of Oblivion, probably the attention to detail present in the world.  There are hundreds of completely unique books, for example, that actually have some relevance to the world, and could help you out in the future.  Also, things like the radiant AI really help to suck you into the world and make you feel like a real citizen of Tamriel.

Out of 10, yeah I think 9.8 or 9.9 is about right there.  It has its few shortcomings, but really it suceeds where most games fail, It is able to create a living, breathing world that looks amazing and acts even better.

Hmm, a ranking eh?
1) Guild Wars
2) Oblivion
3) Battlefield 2
4) Topspin (I love me some tennis)
5) Ratchet and Clank: UYA (I was a founder of the #1 clan, we stayed there for 3 months, I have to love that game)

Simply Stunning, I havent really experienced a HUGE problem some bugs but what game doesnt have them? You can't be perfect so yeah a 9.7-10 is a good rating. Happy to get it for the 360 though, Computers have way too many requirements making thousands of people and their PCs dislike Oblivion. Oh well I enjoy the game.  9.7

Ok then, it's a good feature of the series, but I'm just saying that I love the amount of time that Bethedsa puts into the world, and if all the books were completely rewritten for Oblivion (none carried over from Morrowind), that is just a lot of dedication.

Yeah I found some lists of books in Morrowind and I was able to track down the Oblivion copies of quite a few, but it seems like for every old book included, there is a new book in Oblivion.

Fast travel for me,  My biggest problem with Morrowind was the hours of trudging around with a train of the bugged plume racers following me, that anoying sound effect they had and the way they took about 20 minutes to figure out a path down to you.  The option is still there to walk everywhere for die hards or just head out of town and explore the country side but the key is you dont HAVE too.  Rate Oblivion? hmm too early to say......

- Poison (Now you can use it on something OTHER than yourself!)
- Fast Travel
- Horses
- More books!
- Rings/amulets show
- Hoods (I played Morrowind & GOTY on xbox, so I couldn't get the mod)
- Radiant AI
- Being able to tweak every facet of your character's face

(BTW: Constant effect enchantments were in Morrowind)
