Ok, really noobey question....what is Shadowmere? The title says packmule, is that literal or metaphorical?

I'm just wondering who in their right minds would think of knocking out a horse, to put stuff into/onto and/or get stuff from it.
It never crossed my mind, that's for sure.

I agree about being handy in a fight. When I had to do the Weatherleah quest, being stealthy i stand no chance against ogres, so I sent shoadowmere in, and stood back and just kept shooting at the ogres... Made a hard quest for me, very easy
