Anyone still playing daggerfall? I recently started a dunmer, still level 1 because I set my difficulty dagger kind of high.

No, not really. At least I don't.

I own the game, and installed/launched it once, but was depressed with quality of graphics, to be honest. Hearing that this game takes quite some time to play, I simply put it aside and never launched again.

Btw, it seems that among all TES games available people tend to prefer the game with which they started. Earlier games are inferior in terms of technology, and later games are just... different. When I've been on Morrowind forums years ago, I heard many voices that TES III is spoiled, too simple and lacks many Daggerfall features. I was surprised with such attitude to a great game, but later, when tried to play Oblivion, fully understood what they were talking about.

He speaks the truth. Although I started my TES experience with Arena all those years ago, I recently installed Daggerfall again metamay and found it to be sort of unplayable.. which is sad because Daggerfall was and still is a grand game IMO, just can't seem to grasp the same level of enjoyment out of it as once was possible =[
However I'm not saying I prefer Arena over the rest, it was a great game for it's time... I just still prefer Morrowind over the lot =]

Never seen Arena. I've read that it's now available for free to download. Hardly remember that time, but I think I downloaded it and couldn't launch it on Windows XP.
