Is there a way to take items out of Arena???

I know that it says it is forbidden, but you can still grab stuff with L2 on PS3. Maybe, you can "drag" it through the door somehow?

Take the item and throw it onto the balcony? Then it might stay there like items you drop in places and you can go back and get it, MAYBE?

Since it's against the rules to take anything from the arena, I would guess that it works just like stealing. If you even grab it to drag it somewhere, won't they sound the same 'alarm'? Also, you can throw into the stands (as long as you get it high enough) but it would probably be marked in a similar way to stolen goods... but I'm not certain of any of that.

What I can tell you is that you should consider progressing through the rest of the Arena matches (if you can) before you worry too much about not being able to pick things up. [This isn't a spoiler thread so I can't say more.]

Thanks for the information. I found out you can grab the weapons, but you cant throw them high enough. Well, I cant anyhow.

I once jumped from the balcony into the arena... by accident... after the match was already over. I must have slipped through a crack in the invisible wall. I was stuck down there and had to restart. Maybe I found the only hole and there is no "over".

The arena you fight in and the arena where you watch fights you've bet on from a balcony, are two different cells. Notice the pillars when you fight in the arena. They are missing in the other arena. Even if you could throw a weapon high enough to put it on the balcony, you wouldn't be able to get it from there, since the balcony you can go on is in a different cell.

To answer the original question: No. On the PC there are mods that let you take the arena items, but you're on PS3 so I guess no mods for you?

Ok, first and outmost, no dragging items through other solid objects 

As for the balcony, sorry, but thats not possible either. For one thing, there is an invisible wall right above the arena wall, anything you throw up, hits it and bounces back. Even with the invisible wall however, that still wouldn't work. The actual arena pit and stands are 2 different cells (meaning that if you are in the pit, you can not get to the same stands without going through at least one set of doors) :Notice that when you are in the pit, there are 4 pillars, well go to the balcony and see them  . So even if you could get it past the invisible wall, the item wouldn't be up there when you got up to the balcony.

There is a way to get over the invisible wall while you are in the stands. I believe you need a high acrobatics and a certain path. Once in the arena, I'm Pretty sure you can take the fighters things, but I don't know if you can return (of course you can use the paintbrush to get you out)

If you kill the arena enemy, use the staff of worms and then exit the arena, they will follow you and mthe items will be lootable???

I'm not sure they would be able to get through the door. I don't know, but it's a good idea!

I post it in the UESP forums and an user says that the arena enemy will not past the door but his body will be there in the next arena match.

Now that we've been talking about this for a while now... what actually happens when you try to pick things up in the arena? I know they said it's forbidden (hence, I never tried) but is it reported as if the items are stolen, are you kicked out of the arena faction, or what?

I tried 2 steal butwhen i went to check his body or pickup a weapon a menu appered saying Its forbidden.

Well, in that case, given all the suggestions, it looks like we're running out of useful options.

Well, like I tried to hint at before, just keep doing arena matches and this problem eventually doesn't matter... though, by then you'll be pretty powerful and you won't want to loot the items of guys you fight in there anyways.

It seems to me that all the other options are well-blocked by Bethesda. Sure, it's forbidden but shouldn't there just be some stiff penalty (like death) instead of a magical box that pops up and stops you from grabbing it? Ha. and what if you're disarmed? You can't grab somone elses to defend yourself. Eh. Whatever. It never gets that complicated in there anyways. You fight, win, and move on.

Did you know about a dupe using the staff of worms and the skull of corruption (kill, resurrect with the staff of worms create a clon with the skull, and when you kill the clon, the weapon falls in the ground as a pickable one) I will try that with the arena stuff

But a lot of players do the arena early...and the resist magic 100% shield is good for a medium-high level char
