How do I start the Knights of the Nine quest line?

I mean, I went to the anvil church and checked outside and the dude wasn't there.

I went to the anvil church and looked around but cant find the prophet to begin the quest, am I doing something wrong?

He should be outside the front of the church under a gazebo sort of thing... you should be able to hear him a mile away ranting and raving about end of the world and other stuff…

You might need to talk to a priest or a guard to activate the prophet, it’s worth a shot….

You should talk to a priest or guard they'll tell you about the quest and then talk to the prophet to activate the quest…

If that fails, stand in the gazebo yourself, start ranting and be the prophet, then continuously change roles between characters by shifting the camera 180 degrees. Make sure nobody is watching you, as it may result in being thrown into the Cyrodiil asylum.



Thats how I'd do it.
