Dunmer! I like them and they are the most useful race in the MQ because of the fire resistance

I tend to play a nord most of the time as they’re the best character for a barbarian style player, I love close combat…

Redguard. I've always played as them, in Morrowind and Oblivion. They suit my character best (blade-weilder backed up with magic), giving massive strength and still being fast. The best thing is that they resist disease. I hate disease. Angry

It's simple. If it moves, whack it with a blade. Multiple times. If it doesn't move, whack it anyway.

All of my characters (morrowind and oblivion) are Argonian, I have had a couple of dark elves in the past, but deleted them. Other then that, I haven't really had to the care to try any other race.

I like High Elves. Even though I've really only had one Elder Scroll game (Oblivion) and I haven't played any other race (I did have a wood elf when I first started, but she's long gone) I really prefer it over all the other races. I do love magic, so I thought that the High Elves would be a perfect fit for it. The only thing I don't like is their weakness to destruction magic, which is the category of magic I use the most, and basically all the magical enemies in Oblivion.

I voted Breton and Dunmer

I've never played a Breton, but I bet I'd love it!

Khajiit! (duh) and Dunmer! Khajiit because they look the coolest, are the best thieves but can also make brilliant warriors or battlemages. Dunmer, in my opinion are the best magical race, their magical abilities are awesome, whereas with Altmer  they have weaknesses (and the Altmer's weakness is a pain) and the Dunmer only have resist.

Imperial and Dunmer. Imperials because they seem to level easily and you can actually get good looking characters. Dunmer because they have the coolest look about them, i like their resistances and powers and their strengths are skills that i like.

I hate Bretons and Nords though...

Well, currently I have three characters going. My "main" guy (the first character I ever made, and the one I've completed most of the quests-and the main quest-with) is a Redguard warrior. He's great. A lot of strength, speed, and although he's not really 'magically inclined' like some races, I've been able (through a lot of work) to hone his magicka and magical skills to a degree that I'm happy with (for a warrior character, anyway Tongue).

The second guy I made (pretty much specifically to do the Shivering Isles quest) is a custom-class Dunmer. I think he's probably the most versatile of the races. Dumer's magical capability; while not *quite* as good as a Breton or an Altmer, is still pretty fantastic. Add in the fact that the Dunmer is superior with a blade, as well as fast (and, depending on your class, and birth sign, can be pretty strong, too!!), and you've got one hell of a character.  I haven't 'played' this character in a while, though...I got frustrated, because I'd made it ALL THE WAY to being "Madgod" of the SI, and the game crashed on me. This happened TWICE. The first time, all I had saved (from auto saves) of the SI quests were up to the first quest of choosing what I wanted to be: Duke of Mania, OR Duke Of Dementia (stealing the Greenmote from the silo).  I had to go back and do it all over again. When I finally got up to the point I'd left off with, CRASH!!! AGAIN!!!!! I wanted to scream! And, these were not easy quests, either (finding my way through some of those places was pure HELL!! Esp. "Rebuilding The Gatekeeper"! You'd think I would've learned my lesson and saved saved, saved every progress...but, NOPE. So, the SECOND time this happened, I just gave up on him. I will, eventually go back to him...I really, really liked the character, and was quite pleased with all his abilities. Plus, after playing a basically magicka-less warrior, it was SO MUCH FUN to be able to use magic!! That's what inspired me to hone up my magicka/magic skills in my RG character. Although, he'll never be a magically inclined as the Dunmer, he's gotten pretty far!!

So, THEN, I made another character...I liked using magic, and didn't want to go back to the RG JUST yet....I made a custom-class Nord mage. He's great, too. Really strong...fast...and VERY magically gifted. I played him for a bit, and then decided to finish up the main quest with my Redguard.  I think I'll go back to my Nord soon, though. I LOVE being able to get my magicka up to the point where I can actually USE some of the spells that are decent/halfway powerful!! And, although I love my RG, and I've gotten his magicka/skills up tremendously, he'll NEVER have as much magical talent!

So, this was REALLLLLY LONG!!! Did I really need to go into that much detail? Hmmm...No. But it was fun describing my three 'men' Grin  My fave? Oh, gosh. That's a hard one. I guess I'd have to go with Redguard. He's just SO...so....macho!  He can kick the tar outta ANY Dremora..easily. And, the fact that I can carry TONS of stuff (and I DO have TONS) is probably the winning attribute. I LOVE dungeon delving/looting!!!

Well, if anybody actually read this much/far, THANX!!!!!!
