Alchemy Charts and Hints

I don't know how many of you will use these, as I just pulled them outta the Strategy Guide, and I haven't looked for them anywhere else on the net, so I'd imagine they're out there somewhere, but these are my versions.  I'll also include some of the sample mixes out of the guide, so you know what you're looking for.


Click on the pics for the (MUCH MUCH) larger version, and here are some sample potions for you, if you want something else just post and I'll see what I can find.

For Alchemy Novices:
Restore Magicka - Flax Seeds, Steel Blue Entoloma
Restore Health - Cairn Bolete Cap, Lady's Smock Leaves
Damage Health - Any two of these:Wisp Stalk Cap, Stinkhorn, Nightshade, Spiddal Stick

For the higher skill levels, just post the kind of potion you need and I'll see if I can slap it together or get the example potion for you.

Thanks, and yeah, I was never a chemist, but I started my 2nd char and I'm going to aim for being a pure archer, so I need some potent stuff to tip my arrows with, so I whipped out the guide and decided I'd help everybody out.

I almost don't use Alchemy, but I'd just like to know how you can apply poison to your weapon......could someone inform me?

pick the poison you want to use, and then select the weapon you'd like to put it on. I don't believe the game will let you apply it to yourself so don't worry about accidentily drinking some.

Exactly, and after I started using Alchemy, turns out you apply the poison to your bow, not your quiver of arrows.

If anyone would like an Excel Spreadsheet with lots of potions/poisons just email me and I'll email it out to you.  Should help and save alot of time if you just want to create a specific potion without having to look at every item in your inventory.   I tried attaching it to this site but it won't allow the Excel format as an attachment.

Yeah - I tried that now - lol - I was just afraid that pressing "A" would make my character drink the poison
