Okay look, to do this you have to have not completed Peryite's deadric quest. Go to the shrine of Peryite( south side of Silverfish river). Then, this is the hard part, wack away at the frozen people.

*I did this after I started a new character last night and am already at blunt lvl. 82.

*your assault count goes up but your bounty doesn't

*bring repairhammers also so you can get your armorer skill up

*this does not work for your sneak skill because they are "unconcious" not dead and they still see you

*there is an argonian at the shrine that you can use for the cure vampirism quest

*the people move if you hit them so try to lodge them into a rock so they dont move

*this requires exreme patience

Ya, it's up top by the best ways..........

I always liked the disinagrate armor spell, then repair the armor way....... But that doesn't level up blade, blunt or marksmen.......

What are you talking about? It is way fun, and hilarious. Just put one up a gainst a rock and paint, paint away. Or play with a friend who has a weird sense of humor or is extremely perverted, that makes it alot funner.

I assumed you just meant it was quick training because personally I like to play differently, but diversity is good and I'm glad you're enjoying the game. Smiley

Will this work for destruction magic too?  Hrm... interesting......
Also, an annoying way to level up restoration and (was it alteration?) magic is to use the Heal Minor Wounds and Protect spell... like all the time... helps if you walk from one city to another on teh road, just doing this... ugh.  I'm sure you all know this though.

You'll get it up quicker if you have a heal other spell, get into a fight with something, and just heal it plus yourself. Or you can use absorb on it......

It helps more if your character can use a spell with little magick depletion, as well.  Like some  minor spells, I can use over and over and not even be a quarter empty on Magicka.  Heal other, now?  Hrm... I'll have to find that spell.  But I DO have absorb health, so maybe I'll just use taht in a buncha fights.

Or you can just jump off a ledge in Bruma that won't kill you, training your acrobatics, then heal yourself completely going back up, then jump off again and repeat. That trains restoration and acrobatics.

With acrobatics, I just tended to jump everywhere i went on foot.  Climbing a steep surface that requires jumping to scale (because I didn't want to go around  Grin) was a good way to level that up.  But is there an easy way to level security (without cheating).

I do the jumping thing, too.

Security... Two things come to mind.
Do Nocturnal's quest (two roads go from Leyawiin to Bravil: her shrine is slightly to the east of the east one) and get the Skeleton key. it gives you a boost in your security while using it, but we aren't overly worried about that. It doesn't break. So go find a Very Hard lock, and keep "breaking" it on purpose. That gives you experience. I don't know if it takes longer to level up since it increased the skill temporarily, but...

I don't know for sure about Oblivion, but in Morrowind, there were spells that locked chests and doors. That would train alteration and security, but I can't guaruntee it exists here. They've taken out other spells, like levitation.

There are a few mods I've come across that incorporate spells like Lock and Levitation back into the game.  I can't remember name, but i think you can find it if you search it on google.  Maybe.

okay I have heard ways to get up other skills so this is my guide to get up certain skills

*illusion- create light on self 1 ft for 1 sec spell hold down block and cast nonstop until desired skil level(this works well for other schools of magic as well excluding destruction)

*sneak- put a rubber band on your thumbstick so you consantly move forward and go into sneak mode in an inn and go into a corner where you wont be seen

*acrobatics- go to a low hanging ledge and pres jump repeatedly(the inn in bravil, enter turn right and this is the perfect place) jamming your thumbstick forward helps

*speechcraft- play the persuation minigame without trying to win, works best with a gaurd as they are not important and you don't need them for quests.

*athletics- get a permanent water breathing enchantment and jam your thumbstick, swim into a underwater wall.

If I think of any more I'll post them here

A 'weakness to' power works for destruction.

No. They havent taken out th Alteration spells your talking about. Those spells on the doors that unlocks them made me get 100 alteration in like 2 hours. Just use them on a door already unlocked by a nearby bed. and yes I'm talking about Oblivion
