Morrowind item ID codes

Can anyone tell me how to dig these out?  For reasons too dull to relate, I've had to go back to an earlier savegame and have lost my favourite bow (Ebony Longbow of Sureflight).  I have no idea where I got it!

None of the published lists of item IDs features this weapon, and none of the versions of the name that I've tried work in the console.

So: can anyone tell me how to dig out the ID code of this item?

You'll probably have to install the Construction Set and search for it in those lists. They should be organized into categories (weapons) to help you find it quick enough. The ID code should be somewhere in the info for that item. This method should work even if it's from a mod.

That's how I always had to do it, by searching through the construction set.  You can try to Google it and see what comes up.  Who knows, someone may have all that stuff posted somewhere.
