iv notice that if your a dark brotherhood member you can go to the sadcastic void to do what ever they enjoy if your with the nine you go to a heaven like place if your with the deadra you become a deadra in return. now whodint that mean that there is no order in the soul so whats with that why would some one fear death in the tes world because mostly every on in that world has a religion and they are rewarded in the end so why fear death there there is even proof that theres after life so why worry there i dont get it Cheesy just to show that im talking in a positive manor

It's a in the lore, I'm pretty sure.

You can't actually go there in-game but the books and things characters say throughout all the different TES games mention things about the afterlife of different religious sects in the game.

So, the original question is... if there is an enjoyable afterlife for everyone, no matter what you believe AND there is proof that these places actually exist (in the lore), then why would anyone be afraid to die?

I guess the answer is.. they're not afraid to die. Not many NPCs ever run for their loves, even when they're hopelessly outmatched. Now, maybe they're not afraid but they're also not ready for the next world. Life isn't so bad. There's plenty to do before your painful, bloody transition to the afterlife.

Maybe its similar to the ancient Norse approach - the better (Or more valiantly) you live out your lives, the greater your afterlife will be. Dying in battle without fear of death would result in the 'valiant dead' going to Valhalla. (Hall of Valor).

Interesting question, though.

I wonder where you go if you're both in the dark brotherhood and a knight...
