A good magic trick

So does anyone also think there should be a spell to repair armor, theve got ones do destroy it why not fix that. it seems like a spell important to a true Mage.

Well, it's a lot easier to destroy something than to create (or, in this case, repair) it.

Also, most pure mages don't wear armor because it makes them less effective. Battlemages wear armor but they balance their armor and weapons with their magic use.

The next best thing (perhaps even better for a mage) is to simply make armor out of magic. Shield spells can protect you from all kinds of damage if they're powerful enough. You can also 'summon' armor... but that's another story.
