I don't think the Dragonbone Curiass exists in TES4. Not everything from Morrowind was brought over and this may be something that stayed behind. I can't know that for sure unless I open the CS and see if it's in there or not... but I'm guessing it won't be.

From a lore perspective, many of these artifacts are probably still in the hands of collectors in Morrowind. It would make sense for this particular piece to have left Morrowind, like Umbra did, but that doesn't mean it has to end up in Cyrodiil.

If anyone else knows otherwise, speak up.

It seems to me (sorry to speak for you Khajiit) that the goal is to collect all the famous artifacts possible. Back in Morrowind, you could collect almost all of the items listed in the lore book about famous artifacts... except the hammer that's too heavy to pick up... but it was in the game, sitting in the museum in the Tribunal expansion.

I think that's the idea we're going for with this thread.

While the Ayleid Statues are good to collect, we're talking about Umbra, Goldfang, Volandrung, and any other famous artifact that made it over from TES3. Of course, someone should find out which ones didn't make it over and mod them into the game, just for the fun of it... except, perhaps, a few that wouldn't logically be able to escape Morrowind for one reason or another.

Ooops.

I'm not sure what I was thinking about when I typed that. I meant to say Goldbrand. I've never gotten it before (which has something to do with why I spaced out on the name) but I hear a lot of people talking about it.

Sorry for the mix-up.
