Isn't that a book?
Just read it. They don't put anything worse than PG13 in the unmodded version of the game (except violence) so it's safe to read. The books in the game are actually pretty interesting, generally.

So, the Maid has come to Oblivion through Morrowind? I thought that Crassius Curio would keep that work for his own self Or is it just the original one from Morrowind? And I'd say that this one was about to exceed PG-13. More than any other book I've encountered actually. Crantius Colto: So you are, my dumpling. And a good one at that. Such strong legs and shapely tail. Lifts-Her-Tail: You embarrass me, sir! Crantius Colto: Fear not. You are safe here with me. Lifts-Her-Tail: I must finish my cleaning, sir. The mistress will have my head if I do not! Crantius Colto: Cleaning, eh? I have something for you. Here, polish my spear. Lifts-Her-Tail: But it is huge! It could take me all night! Crantius Colto: Plenty of time, my sweet. Plenty of time.

Yeah. I've been there.
It's the same sort of borderline material the book describes. I actually didn't know the book was quite that descriptive... but it's all innuendo and tame enough for the censors. I think things like this add to the sense of depth and realism. The real world isn't PG but the developers did their best to make things more realistic without being truly dirty about it.

As long as it's back from the dead, run with it. I don't think it's such a bad thing as long as there is really something new to add to the conversation.

I don't remember all the books I've read in Elder scrolls games and I don't remember the titles of most of the ones I liked, but two nice stories are "A Game At Dinner" and "Thief Of Virtue". The first is cool and suspenseful , the second is cute. .

I like to collect all the DB titles and keep them in FT Farragut, and get the TG ones and put them in Dareloth's house. It's quite sad, really......

Well, they're supposed to be excepts from much longer books. I can't remember if they all do it but I think they use ellipses (...) before and/or after the text in many of the books to show this. At least, that's the idea behind how they get out of writing entire novels (which very few people would read) instead of the nice snippets we got instead.

If you use firefox, you can hold the control key and use the scroll wheel on your mouse to make the text larger. I usually also highlight the text as I read it, which seems to help. (ctrl+0 will reset the text to normal size). Unfortunately, there's nothing much you can do about Oblivion books except maybe read them online, outside the game. The Imperial Library seems to have quite a few books available. It might even have them all by now.
