(shield not included)
It still needs a bunch of refining, but hopefully It'll eventually become a snazzy little armor set for myself and others who prefer the coldest of elements.

Wow, that's looking good.
Is that a retexture of existing armor or completely new geometry?

That's a retexture of the existing Mythic Dawn armor, with minor geometric modifications via normal mapping, heavy recoloring & enhancement, and glow mapping.

Artica, see this thread:

New work:
I'm aware that it looks almost exactly the same from a distance. Check out what it looks like up close, though:
...and at night:

Excellent details!
The glow maps are a nice touch, too.
I did have a question about the Oblivion symbol on the front of the Armor. Does it stand for anything? It's essentially just a letter "O" from the perspective of Tamrielic citizens. (It's called the letter "Oht" according to
this interesting link
.) It looks cool, I was just wondering if it meant anything. Of course it means plenty to us, since this is the main symbol for the game, but I was wondering if you had considered an in-game meaning for it. It might be a little extra work, but you might even consider using a different symbol for it, like "Hefhed" ("F") for Frost... or maybe the magic symbol for frost.
Just a suggestion; no real change is necessary.

That's a very interesting idea. I'll probably change it to an F (Hefhed) for Frost or an S (Seht) for Solostaran eventually. I don't really plan on releasing this in the near future, if at all, so I'll toy around with it sometime and see what fits.

This is some high quality craftsmanship. Have you done any armor mods before?
In any case, keep up the good work.

Thanks, bud. I released the following mod about a year ago, and this armor set is a continuation of the idea behind it:
http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12822
I actually recycled the glow maps from my Warlock sets (which were released later on last winter) for use with this set, but everything else is new. The glowing ice patches do, of course, mirror the phosphorescent patches on the aforementioned sets.
Edit: Also, I think I'll be working on a shield next week.

As you can see, I've made a new normal map for the armor and started on the shield.

I recognized your work as soon as you posted a link. I didn't realize we had a professional on the site.
It's really looking good. I like the shield, it's got an interesting new design.

Thanks, guys. TESNexus's response was rather lackluster, however. Maybe it's about time to write Oblivion modding off of my schedule completely.
