Stupid Nine Divine!

I've decided to finish the Dark Brotherhood quests, so I picked up from the beginning of the dead drops. However, when I kill the Draconis family and pick up my reward, I get a message saying "Beware! The Nine have taken note of your crimes! If you continue down this path you will be unfit to wield the Crusader's relics." I even tried to kill the last member of the Draconis family using the console, but I still get the message. Is there anything I can do to bypass it?

I dont think thers any thing you can do to prevent it but after you are done with the darkbrother hood i think you can just to a pilgramige again to get ride of infamy

Will I have to do the whole KOTN questline all over again?

I don't know for sure here but I think you can keep the armor, you just can't wear it. Doing a pilgrimage to 'repent' should get you back in good standing... though it might also be a problem of having more infamy than fame.

Are you kidding? I have 141 fame, and once I get 1 infamy all the Gods get into a panic. It's rather annoying, really.

So if I do the pilgrimage again, I can wear the armor again?

• You can only equip the Relics if your Infamy is 1 or less. If your Infamy ever reaches 2 or more, you must repeat the Pilgrimage to a Wayshrine of every deity. This resets your Infamy to 0, allowing you to use the Relics again.
• Items and effects that temporarily increase your Infamy have the same effect. For example, the relics will not equip when the Gray Cowl of Nocturnal is equipped.

Apparently, this armor is intended only for true saints. You can't even wear it with the Gray Cowl.

Now, I think, if you've been to every wayshrine already you can simply go to one of them and it counts as completion of them all. That could save you quite a bit of time. If not, at least they'll all be listed on your map for fast travel.

Wow, alright. So I'll finish the DB quests - I'm not gonna want to wear the armor for that, anyway - and then I'll do the pilgrimage to wash the blood off my hands. Thanks for your help!

One of the reasons I do this quest about last.. Real hard to keep those points down.

Yeah, but if you can just do the Pilgrimage again after you've done all your dirty work, then it doesn't really matter.
