Open for business?

The smith in Bliss tells me 'Now is not the time for business!' every time I try to talk to him, and I can't do anything. I've tried talking to him at various time during the day, but it never changes. I assumed it was because he was mad at me for going to Cutter, but I don't think this was suppose to happen. Any suggestions?

Do you have any unfinished quests in SI? Maybe it's part of a quest that you didn't realize you started.

Of course, this is the realm of the madgod, he could just be crazy.

Well, the only quest I have active that he's involved with is "The Antipodean Hammer," and that not a quest you can ever finish. I've finished most, of not all, SI quests.

Well, now that I've tried to get into The Missing Pauldron, it told me that it was closed. Even in the middle of the day, it was not open, and I've waited for at least three days to see if it re-opens. It didn't. Do you think he's sulking or something?

EDIT: It opened back up again, but he still wont talk to me.

Maybe he's mad and doesn't want to see that "Georgeus head" of yours.

Do you have any mods installed that change the shopkeepers, like for instance More Merchant Money or somesuch? I've had problems with permanently open or closed shops whenever I have messed around with traders.
