Cyrodiil Chronicles change hosting

Cyrodiil Chronicles website and forums have changed hosting today. The change will allow more freedom in further website development, as well as providing improved loading times for files and pages of the site.

Host switch was seamless, and no information was lost in transition (including the forum database with most recent posts). You are welcome to continue using our forum and other resources.

Well, for Cyrodiil it was truly smooth, for DiscoveryGC.com... our large Freelancer board... not quite so, unfortunately.

DiscoveryGC proved to be too large and resource-intensive, it has over 300,000 posts and about 10,000 users, with a large MySQL database and such. So, I had to move DiscoveryGC to my old host for a while, and my intention to move all projects onto one shared hosting did not work.

All hosts offer "unlimited" packages for low price these days, but, logically, nothing is truly unlimited. Some limits are actually quite harsh.

Btw, if anyone of you have any information about good hosting directories (sites with info and comments on various hosts), or just good host providers, feel free to share.
