How did you do the rest so far? Only retexturing, or were you able to transfer attachments via NIFSkope (such as putting the daedric arm-spikes on shrouded armor)?

I guess I can't really help you much now.

You might have to resort to putting a simple shape on top and forming the ears/horns using only textures and a transparency map.
