Yes!!!!
Quote from UESPwiki.

Elder Scrolls in 2010? — October 30th, 2008
According to gameindustry.biz, a Bethesda publishing executive, Paul Oughton stated that we may be seeing the next Elder Scrolls title around 2010. He didn't say anything about what we can expect from the game, or whether or not it might be an MMO from ZeniMax Online Studios or a single player game developed internally at Bethesda, but since he is quoted as a Bethesda Executive, the single player option seems more likely. Currently speculation on the next Elder Scrolls title points to it taking place in Skyrim.
Wow. Thats pretty cool. 2010 though, still I can't wait!!

Yeah, I heard a lot of talk about Skyrim over at the official forums when I stopped in but I never saw the original evidence for it.
Sounds like it'll be a Nord-centric traditional style RPG, rather than a fantasy that's as unique as Morrowind was. I'm sure there will be unique touches but I quite enjoyed the almost alien landscapes of some areas of Vvardenfell. Nords are my favorite fighters, so I'll be able to fit right in as a local. I just hope it has much more variety than a mere Solstheim clone.

Hmmmm...Well looking back at some of the "rumours" in TESIV:Oblivion, it's highly likely it would be in Skyrim or Summerset Isle, because of the rumous "i heard Syndacites of wizards of summerset isle has got a boycott of goods from The nibenay"and "I hear the Nords of Skyrim are fighting with the Orcs of Orsinium(?)".

Yeah I'd like to see the city's cause I like Bruma's landscape and Nord style Buildings, I personally am not a great fan of Nords but that would be a great storyline and a great game-I'd also like to see some more Paranoied Bosmer

You scared me a bit with this topic title, I browsed to Elderscrolls.com immediately to read it... and found nothing :p
How cruel is that.
Well, ok, great then... I'm not a huge fan of Nords to be honest, and winter landscapes is something that I'd prefer seeing for less than 5 months each year here, in real life, but there's no direct proof that it will be Skyrim, right?

Ok, I've collected everything I could collect from the net (trustworthy) into a site news article.

Don't they usually wait for technology to improve a bit before they make a new game like this? So they can improve certain aspects of the game they couldn't improve in the technology of the past.
I agree with -F-E-A-R- but wouldn't that cost a fortune and take forever?
Talking about
Skyrim
being the next game...
This is just a rumor, but, aren't Nords racists? Wouldn't there be only one playable race in Skyrim? Isn't it a lawless, freezing, and brutal wasteland with insane drunken inhabitants? If it's anything like Solsheim was, we are in for a huge ramping up of simple bludgeoning combat, and a huge ramping down of vegetation and otherwise any interesting variety at all. Or am I missing something?
The upside could be that it would be a good time to test the water systems and real-time ship navigation systems.
