Infinite money glitches?

Were they removed before GOTY be cause i'm really strapped for cash annd sorry for cheating but as i said i'm really strapped for cash and I don't have the money to go to Kvatch on a horse, and I don't wanna kill someone for no reason.

you could fast travel or... walk. But I have GOTY on x-box and mine still work. try this one turn into a Vamp. do the cure quest and keep asking for the reward.

I meant the glitch where you draw your weapon.

Oh. The one where you travel to Kvatch on a horse with your weapon drawn and talk to a merchant and sell that weapon, it says you cannot unequip this weapon but you still get the septims for it!

There are a few infinite money glitches but they were fixed before GOTY came out and the official patch takes care of them if you have the original game disk.

There are plenty of non-cheating ways to get money. My character has more money than he'll ever be able to spend because I continue to make money just by playing, yet there is never enough to spend it all on.

If your focus is strength: Every time you clear out a cave, pick up as much of your enemies' armor as you can carry (more expensive pieces first) and sell it at the nearest town. Make more than one trip if you have to. You can make a several hundred or more per cave, depending your level and how much you can carry.

If your focus is intelligence: Learn alchemy. If you pick up enough ingredients (free, abundant, and light) you can make potions and sell them for 3-4 times as much as the ingredients are worth. At lower levels each potion isn't worth as much but it all starts with free ingredients and many potions can start to add up.

If your focus is stealth: Join the thieves guild and steal some stuff. I'd suggest just stealing things, but you need fences to sell stolen goods to, which you only get in the thieves guild.

Then there are side-quests. Every quest you do in this game gives you either gold or an artifact you can use or sell.

You can bet at the arena, if you'd like. You can even reduce your risk by saving your game before you make your bet and reload if you lose.You can't rely on autosave because going through doors triggers it again.

Finally, if you're still intent on cheating, there is always the console command. To give yourself some gold, type the ~ key in the upper left of your keyboard and type: "player.additem 0000000F 'XXX'" but replace the 'XXX' with the amount you want.
