Firstly, I would make a few weapons and armor. (allready doing that)

Secondly, change the quality of some items (like exchanging stats between Orchish and Steel armors... I mean, the orchish one does't even looks heavy! ) (allready doing this too Grin)

Adding a small fort/lodge near the imperial city with it's own small faction you can join...with quests. Grin

-------------

Other than that (but literary impossible) - change how the weapon and armor work. It's currently too simplistic for my tastes. All blades are slashing weapons, you can't thrust at all!
Armors have a general protection rating insted of having different damage reduction for different attack types (slashing, piercing, blunt)

I want to see a mod where you could subjugate smarter lifeforms that aren't from the oblivion plane - something where if you 'yield' to them while they're wounded past a certain point but you'refairly healthy, then they surrender and let you order them around.

I'd like to be able to go into a bandit cave and usurp command from their leader, then use them for things like fodder for future battles or guards around my houses or something.

i'd make a mounted combat mod, and an item manipulation mod, i.e. you drop stuff where the reticule is, not a foot and a half to the right, more things would be breakable, stuff like that

I would like a mod that would allow you to manipulate stuff better, cos holding down the "Z" key is kinda annoying. And you have to "drop/drag" items to put them in the desplay cases in some of your homes. Maybe like a axis system (like some mods had for Morrowind III) or just a better control in general would be great.

Another mod would be to improve the Khajiit's Night-Eye ability so you don't have to keep casting it ALL THE TIME in dungeons, I mean granted it doesn't take up magicka or anything but still it's annoying when you're figthing a moster (or MULTIPLE monsters) or something in a dark passage and your Night-Eye shuts off so you're in the dark and being beaten to death by the monsters. And you can't really "recast" it if you're trying to keep yourself from dying. Maybe make so you can turn it on and off at will (like "casting" it to shut it off when you don't need it).

I'll probably post more ideas for mods as I think of them, and play through the game a bit more.

Id make a nice new assisins out fit, to make me look even more like a ninja!! Id also make a sword with good stats, a poison proc and use the akvari katana model for it.  I would also want to see DW introduced so I would need a half size katana model for my "Wazakatashi".  I couldnt mod to save my life so not ever going to happen.

Two things

1) Make more destruction spell animations! The whole reason I'm not a mage is because all the darn spells look the same!

2) Add more unique items. The rare artefacts ike Umbra really add alot to the game, I'd love to have major hidden quests and ancient treasure hunts for some powerful old artefact that isnt just a daedric shrine quest.

I want to be able to wear hoods/cloaks over my helm/armor. I loved how you could do that in Morrowind...

I'd like to see a mod that creates armor that looks like it belongs in Dynasty Warriors 5 (aka "ancient chinese-style" type).

Id make a mod for Horseback Combat. I hate when you come across a wolf or orge or a bandit and you have to get off your horse which is probably gonna die...and kill him then get back on only to be hunted again by another panzy. Id also change glass armour back to that dark green like it was in Morrowind. The new stuff is too light when its a clear day in Oblivion. I agree with KaSiB II BaSiK about the spells. I still use them but there needs to be some changes in the way they look. Id have the stronger the spell the larger it is when you fire it and the bigger the impact when you kill them. Like when you do a lightning attack and kill them how it fires them backwards, Id change it so its more...well obvious is the word I want. Grin

I would like a mod that lets you wear more than 2 rings at a time - i mean you have 8 fingers (and 2 thumbs), why not at the very least let you put 2 rings per hand....

Also why only 1 amulet/necklace around your neck- haven't they heard of Mr T ??
