Invisible assasinat High Fane
«

After retrieving the carving at High Fane no matter what i do, i get killed by a diedly arrow that pierces my body as if it was made of butter. i even tried giving Claud Maric the carving and run like mad in an opposite direction and still get killed by this misterious arrow, i also can't fast travel there is always an ennemy near by. Who is this misterious archer and why does he want my blood ?

Hes a Kajit, F-er got me the first time too. You can talk to him and work out a deal, though it will cost you but you can skip out on paying him... but he will stalk you and follow you forever until he gets a shot, but he'll never follow you into a city

Heh Lad, this is a question concerning Morrowind, and this is the Oblivion section. Lol for a moment there i thought there was an "invisible archer" in Oblivion that slaughters you with "deadly arrows" lol.
Eitherway, when i get around to installing Morrowind, i'l be looking forward to see how i fare at this seemingly invincible archer.

It's a different high fane. Until you posted, Zanmato, I didn't realize there was more than one.
In morrowind, it's 'the heart of the Tribunal Temple' but in Oblivion it's part of an Aylied ruin. They likely have similar names because they had a similar purpose. The actual name of the Aylied ruin in this Oblivion quest is Malada, which translates to "High Fane" in the Aylied language. Just based on the context of these two instances of the phrase, I'm guessing it means something along the lines of 'temple of highest importance'.

Yeah i only just realised just now (just completed Umbacano's Quest), that there must be more than one reference to the same name
i guess we're both at fault on a small part lol ^_^
