Welcome to Cyrodiil Forums!
Cyrodiil Forums is a new online community dedicated to The Elder Scrolls games, in particular to TES IV: Oblivion, next TES game that will be released in a week from today. On March 21 Oblivion should be available in most North American stores.
Cyrodiil Forums is an independent part of Cyrodiil Chronicles website, currently one of the most visited fansites about Oblivion in English. Earlier, Elder Scrolls section of Discovery Gaming Community served as forums for Cyrodiil Chronicles, but now Discovery will be fully switched to sci-fi gaming, and this new forum will host TES-related and general fantasy roleplaying discussions. Discovery was founded back in June 2005 to partly re-unite IlluminatingDarkness community. In its most active days IlluminatingDarkness was dedicated to Morrowind and online RPG gaming, so it is logical that now most former ID members will move here from Discovery; latter will remain to serve needs of our Freelancer community that was growing rapidly during recent months.
As for this forum, its primary subject will be Oblivion and mods for Oblivion - there is a special modding category where modding questions will be discussed. We also have general Elder Scrolls forums, including roleplaying, lore and older games forum. In General Gaming you'll be able to discuss any games you like - and there's a special forum about singleplayer and online RPGs. The Community hosts a wide array of general non-gaming discussions.
Our goal is to create a friendly, helpful and mature The Elder Scrolls community where you will be able to share your knowledge, get answers to most complicated questions and discuss freely both gaming and non-gaming topics.
You will be able to post right after registration - no e-mail validation required.
