Ok...So..A lil' background (not that it probably matters): I am a Male Nord Warrior..custom class that I named "Mystick". He's kinda like a Battlemage..but a few major skills are different. I have Armorer, Athletics, Destruction, Blade, Mysticism, Alteration, and Heavy Armor.

Anyway, he's at level 28. I've only had him less than a month. Leveling fast. So...my dilemma..I've started doing the Master Trainer Quests. My first one was Pranal, the Heavy Armor MT at the Roxy Inn, just north of the Imperial City. I did what he asked of me: Get Malene (his unrequited love) her four (or was it five?) silver glasses, and one silver pitcher. Then he agreed to train me. My skill was already at 86. So, the TRAINING button becomes available, BUT, says "This trainer cannot help you train any higher" (or, whatever that message is; I am sure you've all seen it). Then, at the top, where it states the level of the player and trainer, for Pranal it says "MASTER" (of course, since he's the MASTER trainer), but for me, it still says "EXPERT". It WILL NOT let me go any higher. When I look at my Heavy Armor skill on my stat journal, it STILL says 86: Expert.

Thinking maybe I've done something wrong, I decide to do Illusion training with one of the members of the Mages Guild (cannot remember her name, but she usually stays in the Chironasium at the Arcane University). Again, for this stat, I am at an 86..Expert level. So, I go and do what she demands of me; I get her 10 Welkynd stones. She is pleased, and agrees to train me. AGAIN, the SAME thing happens... the training button will not let me go any higher. It says the trainer cannot help me get any higher.

Now, in the guide book, it says that once you reach 70 for any skill, the MASTER trainers will train you to 100. My question is; am I TOO high now? Is it possible that the Masters won't train you any more once your skill stats go over 70? If so, this sucks. They should be able to train you until you 'max out'. And, what about doing all the quests for nothing? There's nothing in the beginning that says anything...so you go and do the quest the trainer sends you on, and cannot be trained any more?  Is this what's happened, or is there something else wrong here? If anyone can help me out with this, please do so. I just got JIPPED outta 10 Welkynd stones!!!! That BITCH!!! AND I ran around all over the Imperial City looking for a gift for a woman that doesn't even LIKE the guy that gave it to her!!!!!

ANY ONE?Huh

This sounds strange, are you running any mods?

Maybe the message was about not being able to train more than 5 times per level? The message you typed sounds like the normal one for when your level is too high, but maybe it displayed the wrong message.

That's all I can think of so far.

Hmmm. Could be it. I sure do wish they'd have some way to let ya know that before you go running around like a freak trying to make all the quest requirements!!! Undecided
