Found some weird things playing Oblivion recently...
1. When I got to the sigil keep in a Oblivion Gate, it turned blue and started snowing. In oblivion.

This one is more of a is that supposed to happen?

When I became the Arch Mage, and Traven went "When I am gone you will lead the guild", it was still stealing to take most of the stuff in the Arch Mages room, and it still showed me as a Master-Wizard on the faction page.

And this one us just a mistake.

Me talking to a beggar
Me: Have you seen strangers in town?
Begger: No but my memory isnt what it yous to be.
Me: Would five gold help?
Begger:Oh yes, its comin back to me. I saw someone looking out of Jearls window when she wasnt there, someone I had never seen before.

I go to Jearls house, and when I look around I realize there were no windows in the house.....

Anyone know about the first two?

Well, I've never heard of it snowing in Oblivion. I imagine it could be just a glitch that the weather carried over from a previous cell, or the cell you were about to be teleported into. The Sigil stone glowing blue instead of the normal orange suggests something intentional, though. Do you have any mods running?

Since Traven was still saying "When I am gone..." and you were still a Master-Wizard rank, maybe you never completed the very last task.... actually, I just remembered what the last quest is. If you can still talk to Traven, you haven't finished the whole quest-line. Talk to him again to find out what else you need to do before the room is yours.

For the last one, I was about to guess that the beggar was crazy or it was an in-game joke. I got curious, though, and had to look it up. Normally, there aren't any windows in Oblivion that anyone could 'look out of' (because the interior is in a different cell) so it's just part of the storytelling to ignore the game engine's limitations... but looking at the house in-game, it really does look like there are no windows. If you look closely, though, there are two extremely tiny windows with wooden shutters over them. You can see the hinges, if you look close enough. Presumably, this it to keep the cold out, since Bruma is pretty frigid most of the year. I guess they're just odd-looking Nord windows that don't look right to the rest of us.

OK, thanks. The sigil stone was still orange (I think, I was running from a super-dremora, and not paying much attention) As for the room not being mine, I guess I just have to finish the quest.

Yes, snowing in Oblivion is something I've never heard of before.

Maybe it's some sort of easter egg associated with one of the Oblivion planes?
