Mages Guild Reccomendation, need help

OK so i really want to get into the Arcane University, and i have gotten reccomendations from every other city, but for some reason there is no body in the Cheydinhall mage's guild well, it is small and i have searched for like 30 mins anyway, but no body...i guess its either a glitch or i possibly killed that person....but i wouldnt think i killed him.....@#$%

once you have all of your recommendations, go to the arcane university, enter the wooden door to the archmages lobby (right in front of you when you enter the area) and talk to raminus polus, he's usually one of two people in the lobby. you should be able to talk to him about recommendations, he'll tell you if you have all of them, and if you do you're in and he tells you what to do. if he isn't in there then just wait, he has a normal schedule, sleeps at night, up during the day.
