So I did this quest called a brush with death! It is by far the coolest thing i have seen yet! It is Definatly insperation for a mod or two. I loved the colors and think that a house would be quite fitting in side that area.

That quest rawked. I tripped out halfway through and suddenly found myself under attack by strange hideous trolls made of paint.

You pick the quest up in Cheydinhal by asking around about a 'missing husband' if I remember correctly.

Or, you could activate the quest by finding the persons house in the South-West corner of town in Cheydinhal

I really liked this quest and I notice that some of the quests in Oblivion are a lot more imaginative then in Morrowind  Tongue Another of my favorites is when you get to rescue that guy from his dreams. I'm afraid I can't remember the title off hand  Sad

Yea, although there are the standard delivery/dungeon crawl/travel quests which just bore me, there are also these unique quests which are just amazing, like walking through a painted world, or the Namira quest where your in the pitch black dungeon with all those light hating worshippers scampering around.

yup,

I wish there were more of such quests. Detective investigation is ok too.

I didnt play the Namira quest yet; its the name of a deadric shrine btw. the quest starts funny.

The quest about the Dream is in Bravil. Talk to many people its easy to get the quest. Remember that interesting items can be found in someone else's dreams (Huh)...

Anybody has more of this kind of thing? Please tell us your stories but no spoilers please!

haha,

  good point.

Hey call me stupid but I didnt do Umbra yet. I was worried the sword may be leveled. Because many people bragged they killed her at level 0.02 and the sword wasnt so good. Buggers.

Doh..

Now with all my luck I suppose my deadric sword frost +20 is better than it.

Speaking of swords I just switched from a short sword to a claymore (2 handed) with the SAME displayed damage, and same magical damage.  Technically they should be the same right, exept the short sword is a bit faster and shorter range?

Well, I kill enemies 4 times faster - 4x less hits.

Talk to Ocheeva at the mages guild in Bravil, and there should be an option about a request for help, if not then ask around Bravil first, although im certain you can get the quest just by asking her.
