Choice of MMORPG can be difficult. But if you know what games your friends and people whom you know are playing, it becomes easier to decide. And meeting online is always and exciting experience.

That's why I started this poll for all forum users. If there are any MMO roleplaying games that you are playing now - or going to play in the near future - choose the game (or choose Other and post), or choose None if you are not involved in playing online games right now or simply not a MMORPG fan.

You are welcome to post comments on your choice - and on choices of other members.

I'm playing GuildWars, and enjoying it. Smiley
Even got a guild going.
Not really interested in any others, simply because I refuse paying a monthly fee to play.
Of course if there's any other games like GW, that doesn't require monthly fees I might be interested. Wink

Yes you are right. When buying City of Villains I had to get 3-month subsctiption (2-month card in addition to free 30 days, to be precise), and later felt like my investment was completely lost - after I got a bit bored, I quitted playing and never returned to the game. Or, to be precise again, returned once but not for long.

Subscription ends March 25, and my level 19-20 characters (out of 40 max) will just get lost now, cause I'm not ready to pay for more months just to preserve my characters.

I'm playing World of Warcraft at the moment but I plan to quit it when Oblivion comes. At least for a while.  Smiley

I'm currently playing Ultima Online, have been for quite a number of years now.. ever since '98 when it first came out. UO is still one of the biggest MMORPGs today, although not many newschool gamers like it much cause of its graphics...

Maybe some more games need to be added to the poll, such as the aforementioned UO and perhaps Dark Age of Camelot aswel (also fairly big).

UO is fine, played it for some time not long ago. But I just don't like isometric games, whether they are 2D or 3D with insanely detailed graphics. And that's also why I like Elder Scrolls.

Poll choices are based on statistics, as far as I know those games are most popular right now. There are dozens of other popular MMORPGs - already mentioned UO and DAoC, Eve Online, Anarchy, Asheron's Call, Lineage II and others. That's why there's "Other" option in this poll.

Still hooked onto World of Warcraft, but I don't play it very frequently, due to hardware and studytime restrictions.

WoW is not that requiring - what does your PC look like? The second reason is very true for me as well Smiley
