I'm a member of the fighter's guild and mage's guild, my character is a melee fighter with summoning as you can see, I plan on using mysticism for soul trap and try to find good magic items or craft my own at the Arcane University.

The reason I've got athletics as a main skill is that I'm using AF levelling mod and Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, they make levelling up attractive. I can also obtain 110 strength and 110 endurance max from my birthsign with the help of Oscuro's.

I am a level 22 now with 100 conjuration, 74 blade, 50 some odd block and heavy armor, 30 something restoration, and 60 something acrobatics.  I only have 4 hours on this character and have been able to level up quickly by cheating.  Well I have been generating potions and stuff to sell.  Then I do 1 training every level on major or minor skills.  It is important to leveling that you train once every level because you can only train once a level.  You can level up very quickly by training on major skills.  My character (Aiden) kicks major Kahjit butt.
