Believe me when I say this, I love Oblivion. I believe it is one of the greatest games ever produced for pc. That is why I feel the need to add to it.
For me Oblivion has unlimited potential. It has excellent graphics, an easy to use and learn construction set and scripting tools. I do not generally mod games - I have the ability to do simple mods and changes, but most of the time I cant see the possibility/ point of modding games that in my opinion don't have potentialm.
A little bit about myself then.
First off my *cough* real name */cough* is Asha . I am a teenage kid that lives in south-east London with an interest in most things from scuba diving, to reading, to politics. One of my interests is modding/scripting.
[Overview]
The mod I plan to make is complex and large that should create an entirely new world bit by bit. It will not replace the existing game, but be incorperated into it.
The mod is set deep in the past of Tamriel, in the Middle Merethic period of time. The ancient races come alive as you are sent spinning on an epic quest back in time.
Your first quest is given by the count of Anvil regarding information he has on a lost Elder Scroll. On finding the elder scroll you are thrown deep into the past, where you are forced to search for it in hope to find a way back to the future.
In the jungles of Tamriel Ayleid ruins now are home to the wild elves, to the north barbaric beast creatures rule in disunited clans as the Aldmeri sweep up through what is now called Cyrodil. White Gold Tower stands high above the empire, glowing with the fires of conquest and victory.
On your way through the ancient landscape meet other adventures, from civilized Khajits to lost Nords. Friends can be made and lost in these times, and unless the Elder Scroll is found, you may be the one writing the history of your doom.
All changes are only in the new world space. All other worldspaces will remain unchanged

Dwemer
Chimer
It will add new cities and towns all with their own NPCs and quests. See a land so similar, yet different to the land of Cyrodil, with new creatures, monsters and flora.

Much as I would like to make this mod on my own and suprise people with it, it isnt feasible - It would take years to do. To achieve the above I definately need some help, whether from beginner modders to those with years of experience.
Currently I am in need of...
- Some experienced skinners (my abilities are next to nothing)
- People willing to do voice overs
- Experienced scripters
- Mappers
- A load of people with time on their hands and a willingness to learn
- Someone to write lore for the books and scrolls
- Good ideas! (for quests and such)
Dont worry if you are not too good at modding, because by the end of the project everyone involved will have improved greatly, and everyone has to learn at some point. Those with experience can help those without.
This thread will be updated fortnightly with the progress of the project and checked daily by myself, so get in touch here if you have any suggestions, ideas or are willing to give up your soul to work on this.
