Unfortunately, my hopes about frequent website updates did not come true. The recent month was rather unfortunate for me: due to loss of one of my closest relatives and other reasons I didn't have any time even to play, let alone write more about Oblivion. And won't have more time in future. I'm not too happy to share personal circumstances, but I need to explain what's going on with this project, and there's no other way to explain then to tell the truth.

My capabilities for now are limited to just publishing general news about Oblivion, which is surely not enough to keep the website and forums popular. So I need contributors and possibly even co-admins for the website. I know for sure that finding someone who would contribute for free is almost impossible, but right now I see no other options.

What needs to be done? First of all, essential Oblivion articles about races, skills, abilities and other things that are common for almost all websites. I wanted to do it all myself long ago, but... I never managed to complete it. Next, there might be some specific materials about certain quests or locations. Fan fiction. Maps of Cyrodiil. Mods and modding articles of any kind. Also it would be very nice if someone could help with tweaking forum design, e.g. turning red maple leaf icons into something Oblivion-like.

I also had thoughts about converting the current html website into something dynamic, but that's for farther future.

Any suggestions are welcome.

It would be an enormous shame if this site and these forums were to cease to function.  I would offer my help in adding content but unfortunately Oblivion is my first foray into the TES universe and I have barely scratched the surface so my input would doubtless be old news to most of the readership.

The forums are almost silent anyway, and no one talks about the site to cease function. I may be in trouble but it doesn't involve unability to pay for hosting.

i would be glad to help as i can play oblivion for most of the day but the only other TES i've played was Morrowind.

All TES games are different. Majority of members here never played anything earlier than TES III (Morrowind) so it's not a problem. Actually, many Daggerfall fans rejected Morrowind, and hardly anyone of them would play unmodded Oblivion I guess. Same for Oblivion, it might be popular but many Morrowind fans were disappointed.

I wanted to post the request for help on Elderscrolls.com forums, but I'm sure that the thread would be deleted or closed in a matter of minutes cause moderators consider this site advertising. Anyway, I'll probably post... maybe I'll be lucky.

If you need articles written I could do that. I also have some experiance in photoshop 7. It would suck to see a site like this die.

I don't mind helping out either... I could write some of the essential stuff about races, classes and skills and things about quest and locations. I'm kind of a RP freak though, so most of my suggestions would be focussed on that and not on "gaining the highests lvl in the shortest amount of time with while earning tons of gold and great equipment"  ((sorry   Grin ))
