there is two things that annoy me.  1 You cant take your dead opponents equipment in the arena  Angry.  And 2 once you finish the mages guild quest aside from a cool chest you really dont get any power the mages still wont talk to you  Sad.  I also agree that the dark brotherhod quest is to short the ones given to you in the sancturay are a blast, but then they just get boring.  And the battle of bruma was also dissapointing  Sad.

There is a mod that reduces the guard's omniscience. search it on TES. they won't ear someone from miles around anymore. But still, if you ever got away with punching a guy to death by paying 10 bucks to the police let me know. You can count yourself lucky that the game isnt more realistic.

Yes.

The only mods for Xbox360 are the official ones you pay for over XboxLive, and as a result, unfortunately PC users must pay for aswel. See here.

Chrono, I wonder why Xbox doesnt allow mods. Its a PC after all, with a hard drive and files...

From what i'm aware of Xbox uses different coding so PC mods simply aren't compatible, atleast until someone figures out how to convert them into the right format, if even possible without requiring the mods to be completely rebuilt or something. Not too clear on this though so correct me if I am wrong.

Im annoyed at the point that PC users actually have loads more added extras like the daedra attacks topic in chorrol then if you go to book store there the women asks you upstairs n u get to watch her kill her dog n stuff, and also there aint a decent house in IC or Leyawin. Im also annoyed that you can't enter other provinces. How cool would it be to have like 30 cities and a diiferent main quest fo each province

YOU MEAN THAT QUEST WASN'T JUST A DEMO OF THE GAME IT'S IN THE PC VERSION  Angry Angry Angry!!!  No wonder the AI seemed less then what that demo showed.  I like the way you think High Elf.  Oh and my major annoyence is the lack of interaction with non quest related characters.  your limited to rumors information about the town your in and one other thing (can't remember.)

I agree to all of the complaints above. But one thing that really bugs me is that there's one voice actor for every races gender. So every Male imperial sounds the same, every female Dunmer etc...

Ok, i bet everyone is ganna HATE me for saying this, but dont get me wrong, i LOVE the game, 207 hours, in my opinion, proves that, yes yes, call me a nerd, for that is what i am! I was really anoyyed about a lot of things, mostly just comparing it to Morrowind, these things are, the game only has four proper guilds, when morrowind had 13, or something around that much, and each one was bigger, and in morrowind, when u hit level 20, u didnt start getting the best type of armour in the game, you actualy had to go look for it, and it was an achievement in its self when u found some daedric or glass armour!

There was also not enough side quests as there should be, and not enough powerful uniqe items, because there are only a few, where in morrowind, there was always new item, everywhere u went! but one of the biggest annoyances was when they took out so many skills, like unarmoured, medium armour, short blade, long blade, axe, and took out the MINOR SKILLS option. in general, they took out SO MANY things wich they realy should have expanded on, to make an even richer experience,

BUT, i still love the game, and am eagerly awaiting the FULL expansion, the shivering isles, wich looks frekkin sweet!

I kind of understand the reasons behind some of the reasons behind the skill changes. They went from having 3 sets (Major, minor, and useless skills) to having just 2 (Major and minor). That way you don't really lose the usefulness of the skills you don't choose. Really, if it's not a major skill, then it's going to be equally useful. The other system basically forced you to chose skills that would be really hard to develop or make useful.

As for the variations on skills, that also made a little bit of sense. Armor is armor to a point. I can see the difference in using light armor and heavy armor but is there a big enough difference in how you wear armor that a 3rd version (medium) would really be much different from one or the other? I think it really breaks down to light armor being about dodging and heavy armor being about taking direct hits properly. Axe and Blunt have the exact same swing and motions. That's the explaination given in the manual and it's logical enough for me. There just happen to be 7 attributes and 21 skills, 3 skills per attribute. Just enough to make all things equal.

Good call on the lack of guilds. I think part of that is the culture. The cultures living in and around the capital city are pretty...subdued? compared to the distant outpost lands of the Morrowind province, just barely in Impreial control. Many of the guilds weren't proffessional guilds but racial/cultural guilds as part of these cultural entities trying to maintain traditions and their own identity. The people of Cyrodiil are Cyrodiilians first and then Nord or Argonian; quite the opposite of the strong, seperate groups on Vvardenfell.

As for getting the good armor so early? I hate that. We have two equipment problems with Oblivion: 1. After you level up just a little bit, you can get any armor you want, with the exception of 4-5 unique sets from quests. There's not really anything spectacular out there worth searching the country side for. 2. Armor and creatures are leveled. Pick up the same piece of metal at different stages in your life and it has a different value to you and once it's in your hands it will never change again. So, rather than needing great skills, searching for, and defeating a tough opponent to get the best armor, you just wait until you level up and wait a while around before you go kill an (always) evenly matched opponent to make sure his equipment stats are good enough for you when you pick them up for the first time.

I think leveling creatures and equipment is my number one complaint with the game. Sure, you'll never walk into a situation where you're bored fighting someone much weaker than you (aside from rats and things that only get so strong) but you'll also never walk into a fight and wonder if you'll win. It's practically guaranteed because from day one you're the top of the food chain. Anything you come up against can be your equal but nothing can be your better. You can beat the main quest without leveling up hardly at all. I'm sure there are people out there who have defeated the 50 foot tall, 4 armed demonic god Mehrunes Dagon before reaching level 10. I don't think that benefits anyone. As much as this game raises the bar for future games, I think this is one point where they set the bar way too low.

Yea, i see what u mean, but these are a few guilds, questlines i thought of
Nine devines, comon, they could have atleast made quest for it!
Imperial legion, they had it in morrowind, and christ, this is the land of imperials?!
Quests for a city?
they could have also made two of the cities warring, but i know that wouldnt have made much sence historicaly, but it would have been cool fighting with battling town guards! Another thing i noticed, is in morrowind, there were quite a few more spells for each spell type eg, restoration, destruction.
quite freankly, i think you could have gotten 600-650 hours in morrowind, if u were to do all the quests, but the game was to easy, once you got to level 20, u were pretty much invincible, even with the difficulty turned up. and also, the the oblivion expansion, shivering isles (wich looks awsome by the way) has only 35-40 hours of gameplay, in comparison to the morrowind expansion, wich is 100 hours. Guess i built the game up to much befor i bout it, i really hope they fix up some of this stuff in elders scrolls V. One quick off topic question, wich province would u like the next elders scrolls to take place? I would kind of like summerset isles, or maby even two of the provinces.

Yeah, 'adoring fan' can be annoying but if you say the right things to him, he'll just wait in one place and quit bugging you.

I hate when you have 'allies' fighting by your side. They always run between you and your target and then wonder why you hit them. 'Hey, I'm on your side.' I've even been on the opposite side of an enemy and somehow hit my ally fighting on the other side. Now THAT is annoying.

I hate how your enchanting power is limited. If you can afford to have multiple effects on items, and have enough magica, I think there should be no caps on the power of the item. My main finds enchanting almost useless because all the items he finds are keyed to his enormous level.
