Mine is currently Vivec because they have everything there. I like to reside outside the city though, near the SiltStrider in a mushroom cave/manor. Living underground there is advantageous because my residence does not interfere with other house mods in the area I might want to use. My previous favorite city was Balmora where I have a tower keep in the hills SEast of the city. I am also fond of Suran, I do like frequenting Deselle's House of Delights.

Here is a tapesty on my desktop that is from my mushroom cave/manor:

Balmora for sure. It's beautiful, easier to navigate compared to other cities, and is located on the borders of three geographic regions.

Of other places: Seyda Neen, Hla Oad, Gnaak Mok (yes I loved the Bitter Coast), Dagon Fel on the North, surely Pelagiad.

I only played Morrowind for ten minutes... maybe? I got off the ship, wandered around in the port city, then walked to Balmora. It was raining at Balmora, so I'll say I liked the port city better. Even though that Dunmer lady was mean to me and I stabbed her, and got owned by the guards before I could even kill her. Say, are the guards in Morrowind supposed to be like Roman Legionairres?

I think so, I stole some moon sugar and got owned by the guards...
But then again I tried to fix that Sister of Arvena Thelas' rat problem and got wasted by the rat...
