I actually am now helping someone with the Windfall mod... actually, I just wrote a story for it have yet to hear about it.
But for ideas... I dunno, it would depend on the mod here, or whatever.

Well, I was going to spend a couple hours typing this up into code... but I found a
much
faster way.
(copy and paste. Who would have guessed?)
Armor by race and type (basic bonuses, penatlies, and rankings)
This is what I used to balance each race while also determining comparative strengths, weaknesses, and armors not traditionally made by each race.
Armor by race and type (Full set armor ratings)
I used formulas to convert the 1-10 (1-13) scale to a range of 18-72 (18-81) armor ratings.
Specific Armor Rating per piece and for full sets:
All Armor types ranked by Full set armor rating:
_____Weakest_____________Strongest___________
So, we have the framework and all the neccessary statistics. Now we just need to re-texture 80+ full sets of armor.
Unfortunately, I don't have an update for the map just yet. The CS problems are still slowing things down quite a bit.

Exactly. We don't want to stay within TES lore - in fact we're avoiding it at all costs - but we do want to utilize everything Oblivion offers.

Yes and no.
These races will have the same polygon-models, similar textures, and completely replace the original races in the game. Since the entire world is different, their history and their base statistics and attributes will be different.
For instance, to the best of our knowledge the Dwarves no longer exist anywhere in Nymm. They are on the chart only because this is an armor chart and the more durable equipment they made still exists in their former home, while things like leather armor have degraded and been lost forever.
The Sikwanin are lizard-like people, the Feruukken are cat-like, and the Hellions (a completely new race) are the demonic villains of this story.

Ok so the Sikwanin are basicly Argonians, Feruukken are Kajit and hellions are dremora but with different names and mabey different fetures

basically put. Of course, they all have different lore, abilities and maybe even defining physical features. We don't really want to use dremora for the Hellions, though. Daedric creatures, definitely. But a more 'typically' demonic race would be preferred.
But I've said too much.

I don't think you've given too much away yet but we can't say much more about it. We might use the Dremora model for one or two classes of Hellion (with lots of re-texturing) but there will be much more variety in the Hellion race. (If we can get permission with the appropriate mods out there)
Sorry to be so secretive but we really don't want to ruin the story for anyone before the mod comes out... That's still a long way off but that's no excuse to let too much of the story slip.
