Kvatch Help--Possible spoilers

Help please. I made it into Kvatch and talked with Martin at the chapel. He won't leave until all the followers can leave. I know I have to take the tower, but I can't find it. The guide says there are three bridges or something and I can't even find those to make it any further. Can anyone tell me what I'm missing? Please!!!

Its not very difficult as long as you dont depend on the guide. Now, as long as you have the Kvatch main quest set as your main one, your objective marker should talk you to where you need to go with little to no confusion. Lemme tell you, that objective marker is quite the useful little tool. It'll help you out on quests 200000x more than the guide will.

Are you in Oblivion yet, or is that what you're having trouble getting to? For some reason I had to talk to the captain of the guard (Forgot his name, sorry) after talking to Martin before I could enter the Oblivion gate.

Yes I am through the gate into Kvatch. I see fire and fight four little demon looking dudes...then I enter the church and can talk to Martin there. The city is all in ruins. I just cant find my way out of the first area you enter into Kvatch.

It seems as though you're just in Kvatch; when you're at the Oblivion gate you have to press space (or whatever you set it to) like you would any normal door. When you see "Oblivion Gate to Plane of Oblivion" pop up at the bottom of your screen, thats pretty much when you should do it. Fairly easy. If this isnt your problem, meh, you got me.

Yes you need to enter the portal not the city. and goold luck to you save often!
