A certain vampire quest requires me to get 5 grand soul gems. I went to the store in imperial city and bought all the grand soul gems, noticing that some were more expensive than others. Should I be getting just Grand Soul Gems with the attribute: None, or Grand? I'm unsure which type of the gem the NPC wants. Anyone know offhand?

As far as I know you will need 5 empty gems, which means their attribute must all be "none".
