So i've found my way to the shrine.. im soposed to swipe the book.... but how in the name of vivec do i do so with out being killed by the dozons of cultists

It's Mysterium Xarxes,.. how could you misspell this? Such mistake may cost life in TES IV.

meh i just eventuly had to set the dificulty to easy and kill them all to get out :/ i hate to do that but i you know. if anyone has and hits on how they did it at medium let me know

I'm having trouble with this quest too.  Tried to run out, but the door to the exit is locked and 'needs a key' except nobody seems to have this key.  (The Dagon Shrine Key on the escort doesn't work)  Anyone know how to unlock the exit door?

you dont go out the way you came in. its othe oposit side a gate opens only after you have picked up the book

What worked for me is I grabbed the book and ran like hell. First I killed the Mystic Dawn dude who jacked all my gear (killed him with the dagger found next to the book) grabbed all my **** and ran like I had to poop real bad. I got out, but my armour and such was in dire need of repairs. Also, this is easier if you are magic specilised, you can also blast the cult members away with destruction magickas whilst keeping yourself alove with Restoration magickas eh.
