In the mages guild quest to find the ring of burden for a reccomendation, I enter the well, but there is nothing there.  The quest marker is pointing at something nonexistant as far as i can tell, no ring, and no missing apprentice either, how do I complete this quest?

*SPOILER FOR CASTE THE CANVAS QUEST (obviously)*

You need to find the evidence in the mages desk (forgot her name, starts with a C) and her painting in a hidden part of the west tower (there's a door in the ground behind some crates). Third and last you need to investigate the paint stains on the carpet in the main dining room on the first floor.

Yeah for that canvas quest just find the three clues around the castle, and then you need to get a confession out of Chanel, so I just used my speechcraft and bribed her up to 90 disposition, then hit done and she confessed.  After that, goto the Countess, and decide whether to screw Chanel over or be a good person and lie for her, and then you're done.

Where are the two bottles of wine you need to give the alchemy trainer in Skingrad to get him to train you?
